In more New Moon filming news today, The Vancouver Sun reports that filming is indeed ongoing at David Thompson secondary school in Vancouver. Furthermore, author Stephenie Meyer has been spotted on set observing the action.

While the crowd was composed mainly of teens from the school, some older fans made the trek to south Vancouver when word of the shoot got out on Twitter and The Vancouver Sun website Monday night.
Thompson student Simrit Sian, 14, skipped her science class to join the fans watching the action.She was hoping to see Taylor Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob Black, a rival to vampire Edward for Bella's affection.
"He's so hot," Sian said of Lautner.
