New Moon Official Tie-In!!

Attention Team Jacob:

Little, Brown has revealed their cover for the movie tie-in edition of New Moon, which features an exclusive image from the Twilight franchise's second film.
Taylor Lautner fans should certainly pick up

more than a few copies (Those arms! That smoldering stare! Remember, he's only 17!). As for Team Edward...well, at least the image proves that the moon is not, in fact, made of green cheese.

I think I'm with Jacob now.....wow...that's all I have to say. :)

Breaking Dawn: Will the Movie Beat the Book?

Reelz Channel has a pretty interesting article that lists 10 reasons the movie version of Breaking Dawn may be a huge hit or be, well, not as good as the book.

"After Robert Pattinson’s announcement that Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in Stephenie Meyer’s ridiculously popular Twilight Saga, will hit the big screen, we got to thinking: Will it make a good movie? And more important, will it turn out better than the book?

Breaking Dawn is very different from the first three novels in the series (Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse) and saw numerous mixed reviews during its release week. The millions-strong fan base was divided — everyone either loved it or hated it.

We’ve come up with 10 ways the movie could either rake in major box-office bucks or epically fail in a way not seen since Speed Racer dropped off the face of the planet. Even Pattinson might not be enough to save this one."

FearNet Interviews David Slade

FearNet caught up with David Slade at the Dark Delicacies signing the other night and here is what he had to say in regards to Eclipse:

“…“I don’t really know. We haven’t even started shooting yet.” While the director says he has a basic idea of what he wants to do with it, he is more concerned with telling a good story than being “different.” “It is darker, and there is a lot more action than the previous two,” he admits. “The third book is from Bella’s point of view, but the film will be more objective.” And just how will he do that? “We are going to focus on the origin stories of several characters, like Jacob, and show how Bella will decide between Edward and Jacob.”

Pretty interesting!! I kinda like his idea!!! We'll see. :)

ET Posts Outtake Video

Most of this we saw already. There is some extension to the previous ET interviews and now you have Stephenie Meyer’s opinion. :D

New Moon Cast Discuss Key Scenes

MTV has posted a cool new article where the cast discuss several scenes we can look forwarding to seeing in New Moon:

"There’s definitely a difference in scale,” marveled Robert Pattinson when we caught up with him recently. “I liked doing ‘Twilight,’ but it felt very much like an indie movie — and ['New Moon'] definitely feels like it’s a big movie.”

“Kristen [Stewart] and Taylor [Lautner] had to lobby to get this one scene in the film that wasn’t originally in — and I am forever indebted to them for that,” revealed Mike Welch, citing a beloved moment from Stephenie Meyer’s “New Moon” novel. “There’s a scene that’s in the book, the three-way date between Jacob and Bella and Mike, where Mike ends up getting sick, and it’s just very awkward.”

Behind the Scenes Look

Metro News is now releasing a five part article of behind the scenes interviews and observations collected during the filming of New Moon in Vancouver, BC. Today’s release focuses on filming the scene of Bella arriving to school on her birthday and Jacob giving her a dream catcher.

"Ready? Action! Jacob fastens a necklace on Bella. “It catches bad dreams,” he tells her. But Bella only dreams of Edward, played by Robert Pattinson. The British actor is leaning nearby on a car, a figment of Bella’s imagination. She is continually haunted by memories of this impossible love.

As the cameras roll for the third take, Lautner forgets his lines. “Sorry, I’m totally lost,” he laughs. “Cut, reset!” orders Weitz. The cast had a 5 a.m. wake-up call. Lautner outdoes himself in the fourth take. “That was my favourite!” enthuses the director."

Tomorrow, Metro News will have their interview with Taylor Lautner posted. Be sure to check out their site here for more on this series.
